Atomic Fireballs

So, this morning, as a reward for going to bed good, both kids got to pick one item of candy to eat in the car on the way to school. DQ picked mini m&m's and PM picked Atomic Fireballs. When he asked what they were, I told him they were very hot candies and would burn his mouth. Of course, he never believes me when I tell him something and has to try for himself. He told me that he would drink some grape juice when it got too hot.

Well, we didn't even make it out of the neighborhood before he was screaming about them. I had him spit it out in a tissue. I asked if he would listen to me when I told him something was too hot/spicy for him and he agreed. We'll see if he really remembers...

OMG. You too? What is it with kids not believing us moms? It's like they think we're idiots licensed to drive cars or something.

My son does this kind of stuff to me ALL. THE. TIME.

(...and I post about and I laugh too. Does that make us bad people?)
